There are many factors that go into getting a cost to repairing a sign. There is some information that would help sign companies give you a quote like

-Height of the sign off the ground

-Set back of sign from where the truck can be park to service the sign

-Type of sign ( channel letter  , light box , etc )

 

Most companies have a standard service call price.Our service call price is 150$ per hour and this includes a 42′ bucket truck with 2 men.There is a minimum of 1 hour on each service call and depending on the location there might be a travel charge which is generally 1/2 hour.

 

Neon signs can become very expensive to service if the neon is exposed. If the neon is used to illuminate a channel letter or a light box we can retrofit the sign to led. In this type of a sign the neon is just used for illumination but now with new led technology you can save a ton of money.

 

 

 

Led sign have a major advantage. Some of their benefits include

-Electricity savings

-Save money on service calls because led is much more reliable

-Led units generally last from 50-100k hours. Florescent and neon is no where near that and you save toxic chemicals getting into the environment not using neon or florescent.

Once your sign is up there are things that have to be maintained like paint , cleanings , bulb changes etc.A yearly service call ensures your sign will stay working attracting business to your business.In the long run it can save you thousands. We have been to jobs where a sign has fallen because the steel rusted through because it was never maintained and this ended up costing thousands because we had to bring a crane to remove the sign then remove the pole and replace the pole with a new one.
